In your coursework, you may need to submit a link to a file stored in your CBD-issued Google Drive account, instead of uploading it directly to Moodle.
- Submitting documents that you create in Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides. These online apps are free alternatives to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. You can submit links to these files directly to Moodle from Google Drive.
- Submitting a video, presentation, PowerPoint, image, or other large file that you saved on your own computer's hard drive. Moodle uploads have a 2MB limit. If your file is larger, you will upload the file to your Google Drive and paste the sharing link into Moodle.
There are two sets of instructions below. Click one to skip to that section.

Creating and Submitting Files in Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides.
1. Navigate to https://www.google.com/drive/ and Sign In using your CBD Google account (the same one you use to log in to Moodle. If you need to reset your CBD Google Password, click here for instructions.)
2. This is your Google Drive Home Screen / My Drive.
Click the New button in the upper left-hand corner and choose the application to create your file.
3. Once you choose your application (this is a Google Doc below), you may start adding to it. When you are finished adding to your file, you may close it. There is no need to save it. It will automatically save to your My Drive
4. Once you close your file and return to your Google Drive Home Screen, ensure that My Drive is selected. You should see the document that you just created. *If you DO NOT see your document, search for it in the Search in Drive search bar at the top of the screen.
5. Right click your document. Select Share. Select Copy link.
6. A Manage Access notification will pop-up in the lower left-hand corner. Select Manage Access.
7. You will see the below pop-up. Under the General access, select the drop down and ensure Anyone with the link AND Editor is indicated. Click Copy link and then click Done.
8. Paste link into your Moodle Assignment.
