LOGGING INTO YOUR ONLINE LIBRARY
To access your LIRN subscription go to:
The default view for your subscription is the Subject view. You can click on the other tabs to change to Alphabetical, Simple, or Vendor View during your session. If you think your institution would benefit from a different default view, please discuss this with your institution's main librarian contact and have them contact us to modify it.
There is a search box near the top right of your LIRN Gateway that allows you to search across all of your LIRN-subscribed resources using LIRNSearch, our federated search service.
While in the Subject View, a LIRNSearch box also appears at the top of each subject area, allowing you to search just the resources listed in that subject category.
If you click on the tile for a given resource, that resource will open up in a new tab and you will see a vendor search box. Searching within individual resources gives you options to explore content and run focused searches.
LIRN Librarians have developed several guides to help your institution's community get the most out your subscription resources. You can find them on the LIRN Training Page under the section labeled LIRN.
You can also visit our YouTube Channel to see our instructional videos. Depending on the package(s) your institution subscribes to, you may want to view one of the following playlists:
Our vendors offer in-depth training. You can find a schedule of their webinars on the Calendar of Events at the top of our LIRN Training Page. If you would like to request training on a specific resource that is not currently scheduled, please have your library contact our librarian staff email@example.com and they will see if it can be added.
Also on the LIRN Training Page, there are additional training materials by the vendor.
If you have any questions, issues, or feedback, please have your librarian contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 727-536-0214 ext. 1010.
Please note that students should be directed to contact their institution's librarian or faculty advisor for LIRN-related issues, who in turn should contact us if they need assistance LIRN will not release credentials directly to students.
Welcome and Thank You,
